Youth Hostel head to visit the border

Invitation extended border MP Michael Moore, who was told by Mr Legge last week on the issues surrounding the planned closure of hostels in Broadmeadows, near Selkirk, Yetholm, and Melrose.

Scottish Youth Hostel Association has cited financial difficulties and the number of visitors is low as the reason for the closure. The move has provoked anger at the border, where it was seen as another blow to efforts to attract more visitors.

Mr. Moore would like Mr Legge to hear first hand from representatives of the tourism industry about the effects of the closure of the border will be. It is expected that the meeting would take place early next year.

Mr. TheSouthernMoore says: "when I heard that the SYHA Hostelling Scotland is planning to close all three youth hostels in the border, I was deeply concerned and disappointed. Tourism is an industry which is very important here and cheap accommodation provided by the SYHA made accessible as a tourist destination for young people and those on a tight budget. I am concerned that the closure would have a damaging effect on tourism in the region.

Obama heads to Asia, putting the budget in the long arm

Maybe he's trying to bring jobs to the United States with many of them lost through outsourcing some time ago. On the agenda, he might try to sell more debt relief for countries other than China and Japan. China is also looking for more people to fill the needs of their work. Be a citizen of the United States wind will China to find a job? On the other hand he may get some Asian Nations entry of some of their companies here and hire American citizens.

When th'll get tough he flew away. Typical was the loser. And what work is to be generated as a result of this trip?

A waste of time and money. He has no integrity in the face of any leader in Asia. All they see is the one who brought the country's huge debt, achieves nothing but hot air coming from his mouth, clueless and without any leadership qualities that unite the country. In fact, labor has divided the country, making the country weak and losse the respect of all other Nations in particular creditors.
